We all have stories we tell about ourselves that form a narrative about who we are and how we show up in our lives. When that story is painful, yet you continue to tell it without examining or questioning it, your self-identity feels like an anchor that sinks you with no way out.
You may exhibit certain characteristics or personality traits, but the great news is that you get to choose your identity out of thin air. How you think about yourself is changeable, and the stories you tell about your self-identity will either hold you back or propel you forward.
